32nd Aam Mahotsava, Delhi Tourism (NCT of Delhi): A Sweet Celebration of India’s Royal Fruit
Delhi comes alive in early summer, and in 2023, the city welcomed back the beloved 32nd Mango Event from 7–9 July at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, after a three-year pause \. This event, hosted by the Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), is Delhi’s iconic platform to celebrate the nation’s unparalleled mango heritage.
What is Aam Mahotsava?
This annual showcase—first launched in 1988—is Delhi Tourism’s fruity flagship, featuring over 500 mango varieties from states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Gujarat, and Delhi . Visitors marveled at everything from grape-sized gems to papaya-sized giants, and rare cultivars like Langra, Chausa, Fazli, Rataul, Ramkela, Hussainara, Kesar, Mallika, and Amrapali.
Entry was free, and a complimentary shuttle service from Tilak Nagar Metro Station ensured hassle‑free access. The event ran daily from 12 pm to 10 pm .
